Assessment:
After reading a short book about the Olympics students use
the internet to learn more about the sports talked about in the book. They can research what steps they would need
to take to be an Olympian and what sports are available to them. Assessment for this assignment takes place
after the reading and research by answering questions provided in one of the
following way: spoken answer, written answer, picture symbol, or communication
device. Questions to be answered are:
what is the story about, who do we see at the Olympics, what do we do for
Olympic teams, what do Olympic teams do, what does the story say the Olympics
is? A Display of three options will be
given to the student to choose their answer from.
